I don't know why i didn't see this earlier. One of my favorite artists is Alex Grey.His artwork is an expression of the human conscious. He exaggerates the body and mind in effort to express that there is more to us that we may not see. This relates directly to my idea of altered/elevated consciousness. Just thought it would interesting to post. Conveniently enough one of his exhibits is in NYC. Check out his website he has some amazing work.
